C-lupus: Commodity Hadoop Cluster

This project consisted of the assembly and configuration of a commodity hardware cluster running ROCKS and Hadoop for the DEN.

PyGASP: GPU-accelerated Signal Processing

This project created efficient parallel GPU-based algorithms of common transformation operations in signal processing in Python. The included transformations are: discrete wavelet transform (DWT), discrete cosine transform (DCT), and fast fourier transform (FFT).

The software can be found on the Python Package Index. The code for each transformation provides both a sequential and a GPU-acclerated version using Python bindings (PyCUDA) to NVIDIA’s Compute Unified Design Architecture (CUDA).
